PhilRating rates and compares charity organizations - empowering individuals and corporations to make informed and impactful choices when supporting charities. I was tasked to design high-fidelity mockups for the PhilRating website. Project Timeline: August 2023 to September 2023.

About PhilRating

In a world filled with countless charitable organizations, potential donors want to give to causes that truly make a difference, but a lack of reliable information makes it hard to choose.

PhilRating offers a solution to individuals, corporations, and prescriptors looking to assess the impact and effectiveness of charity organizations. The tool rates organizations on 5 criteria: finance, governance, transparency, satisfaction of employees, and impact.

UI design

I was tasked to come up with a design concept and produce high-fidelity mockups for the PhilRating website. Starting with wireframes, I then refined the design, guided by the client's feedback.

My Design Approach

Intuitive Navigation: Users should be able to easily navigate the site to find information relevant to them in just a few clicks. A simple, organised menu and intuitive search functionality are essential.
Transparency and Trust: Highlight transparency with details on how the tool evaluates organisations and by showcasing data on charities rated. Users should feel confident in the accuracy and credibility of the tool.
Accessibility: Make the website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities - to align with brand value of inclusion.

Wireframes and low-fidelity prototype

Wireframes allowed exploration on information architecture and the primary user flow.
The primary flow takes the user from the homepage to a short questionnaire (2 screens), which serves as a filter to then show relevant results based on user interests and preferences.
From the results page the user selects up to four charities to compare. They can then access the comparator and profiles for more details on each organisations.

Design mockups

Based on the insights gathered from discussions with stakeholders, I designed a clean and minimalist interface, allowing for an easy and straightforward user experience. Using color, dividers, and layout, I presented the products and information with structure and detail.
