Ocean

Designing with purpose for a purpose

Ocean Society is an NGO dedicated to protecting endangered turtle species. They needed a landing page to boost their online presence and get support through donations. As the UX designer behind the project, I aimed to create a visually striking and user-friendly page that captured the essence of the organization while driving engagement and conversion. It was enjoyable for me to work on this project - as ocean preservation is a cause close to my heart

The Design Process
  1. Wireframing and Prototyping: Using Figma, I sketched wireframes to map out the page's layout and flow. This allowed for a clear understanding of content placement and user journey. Iterative prototyping helped refine the design based on feedback and testing.

  2. Visual Design: Sticking to Ocean Society's branding guidelines, I infused oceanic elements into a modern and clean design. The color palette evoked a sense of calmness and environmental awareness. High-quality imagery showcased marine life, adding authenticity to the design.

  1. Optimization for Conversion: Every design element aimed to boost conversion rates. Clear call-to-action buttons and intuitive navigation guided users towards desired actions, such as donating or signing up. A/B testing helped identify the most effective design variations.
